Cannot login into Netflix Module. On Version 6.1.7.3 Netflix website says "Incorrect Password" when Chrome Browser logs in just fine with same password.

0000033: Failed to download the TF1 Vidéos protected by DRM MPD actually

Hello,

Since April 1st, 2024, I have been unable to download most of the TF1 videos protected by DRM MPD via StreamFab. Either it shows an error "Download failed" after downloading with StreamFab version 6.1.4.3 (in the log, it displays "Record file not existed"), or the window to set pre-download parameters still does not appear with the latest version (6.1.7.0).

Do you know what might be causing this issue? Is it occasional? Is there a solution?

I've verified I'm providing the correct username and password.

Version 6.1.6.1—and other versions released since mid-November 2023—haven't been able to detect subtitles on the download page. Has been reported to developers who say they have passed it along, but so far no fix. An inconvenient workaround is to download the .vtt manually via Google Chrome, as they aren't encrypted, and the episodes do contain subtitles.

0000027: Paramount + no longer automatically 'analyzing' titles (6.1.5.0)

It has been reported that as of 6.1.5.0, Paramount + no longer analyzes titles automatically.
When logging in, and looking at a title (not playing), whether movie or TV, the expected behavior is for SF to analyze the title to see if it can be downloaded\
Since 6.1.5.0 , this is not the case

0000023: Not able to download in my chosen resolution of 720x576

Hi. I'm in the UK. So I use Amazon Prime UK version. Also Brtitbox channel via Prime Video Channels.
As you know old TV series are not in HD. So the resolution options I get in Streamfab for old TV stuff is a maximum of 720x576, which is the same as PAL DVD's and standard definition TV in the UK.
720x576 is my preferred resolution for old TV series, but I've noticed whenever 768x576 resolution is also offered in the Streamfab analysis I cannot get my wanted 720x576. Even if I choose 720x576 my actual downloaded file ends up being the unwanted 768x576 resolution (which by the way is also a smaller file size, so it's not better!).
Can Streamfab please fix this?

0000004: Discovery+ Subtitles Not Downloaded

When downloading videos from Discovery+, the subtitles do not get downloaded. They are correctly detected and you can select them in the download window but they never get downloaded.

The manifest lists the subtitles as being WebVTT MP4 files so i believe StreamFab only handles the larger .mp4 file while the subtitles are actually in the smaller file.

0000026: You cannot download the Spanish audio if the Catalan audio is available.

If we want to download the audio in Spanish but the audio in Catalan is available, it always downloads the audio in Catalan stepping on the Spanish, independently of the selection of audios that we make.

0000025: No "Cancel" button when copying a youtube URL in the clipboard

When copying a youtube URL, the program does not give you a cancel button like the other modules do (Amazon, Netflix, etc). The popup behavior should offer two choices, "Download" and "Cancel".

When you already have items in your queue, if you analyze something else from that same module and click Download Now, it starts the whole module's queue instead of only the items selected when you clicked the Download Now button

0000006: Auto-Select Netflix [Original] Audio

In the Settings, we should have the option to select the [Original] audio for Netflix.

When browsing Netflix, we may find something that looks interesting and want to download it. After the download, when we sit down to actually watch the show or movie, we realize that the show is in a different language but we downloaded the English audio. That audio is dubbed and there are a lot of people who do not want to watch something that is dubbed but rather watch in the Original Language with subtitles in their own language.

A very basic feature of many programs that download is to let you specify where to save things and how to name said things.

This feature is long overdue.

We should be able to customize the naming of the files and the settings should be different for Movies & TV Shows. That means one folder for Movies and a different one for TV Shows.

Tokens/variables needed would be:

${module}: Name of the module used to download
${resolution}: 480p/720p/1080p/2160p
${videocodec}: H264, H265, VP9
${videorange}: SDR, HDR, HDR10, Dolby Vision
${audiocodec}: AAC, AC3, EAC3, EAC3 JOC
$(audiocodecstring}: Advanced Audio Codec, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos
${movie.title}: Name of the movie
${movie.year}: Year of the movie
${tvshow.title}: Name of the TV Show
${tvshow.season_num}: Season Number of the TV Show (can be formatted)
${tvshow.episode_title}: Episode Title of the TV Show
${tvshow.episode_num}: Episode Number of the TV Show season (can be formatted)

Movie Folder Example:

No matter what show you choose, you can only download season 1 after analysis.

StreamFab will analyze and only return the 1st season even if the show has more seasons

On every other module but Peacock after the initial login you can auto-login to the streamer. With Peacock you must enter your user ID and password everytime you want to use the service. If you use a regular browser such as Chrome, MSEdge, or Firefox instead of the StreamFab browser it will automatically let you enter the streamer site after the initial login.

0000011: H264 Profile Defaults to CBR When Downloading H265 CBVR

When downloading TV Shows in H265, there are some times where an episode is not available in H265 so StreamFab will download it in H264. No issue there. Annoyance is with the Amazon content handlers i guess.

The issue is that, when the files are downloaded in H264, they are always in CBR when i selected H265 CVBR. I understand that H265 CVBR is not available but H264 CVBR is.

So StreamFab should always respect the bitrate mode (or Bitrate Adaption, whatever that means...) and download in CVBR, no matter what codec is available, if that is what was selected.

0000013: Cannot Force Analyze Specific Seasons/Episodes

On Crunchyroll, you cannot force analyze specific Seasons or Episodes and that means if you want to get audio or subtitles not present in season 1, Episode 1, you can't.

For the Anime called One Piece, S01 only has Japanese audio. I want to download episodes 892 and up in Japanese/English Dual Audio but i cannot select the English audio.

No matter which URL i feed to StreamFab, it doesn't work.

0000014: Save Subtitles as .ass/.ssa for Rich-Text Subtitles

Some providers like CrunchyRoll have rich-text subtitles that include font style, color, size, and positioning.

Please enable downloading these as .ass/.ssa (Advanced SubStation Alpha/SubStation Alpha). They are supported by more players than TTML

0000015: Netflix: HEVC HDR10 is not downloaded though seemed available

Hi,

I set HEVC-HDR10/Atmos in Preferences and also selected EAC640/Atmos in episodes list before adding downloads to the queue but downloded media have worse quality like HEVC/AVC for video and EAC 2.0 for audio.
Also the report I see after the download tells that those were available.

I checked on my TV and ensdure Dark series has German-Atmos available. Unlike Elite series - there is no Atmos but Episodes selection had 'European Spanish (Atmos)' listed and I picked that.

Many media I download do have HEVC HDR10 & Atmos downloded but some are not.

0000016: Peacock, logging in, and remaining logged in

Peacock does not remain logged in while downloading, or while tab is closed. This prevents individuals from fully downloading their queue (occasionally), from utilizing the 'scheduling' function on Peacock, and causes individuals to frequently have to log back in, or sort peacock downloads.

0000018: QCEF.exe remains running after shutdown

For reasons yet unknown the program named QCEF.exe will remain running after StreamFab has been shutdown. This remaining process will then eat up between 10% to 20% of the computer's CPU power. This will continue until the computer is either shutdown/rebooted or the process is killed using Task Manager or some other process monitor program.
